Forging Global Excellence Through Data Science Collaboration We proudly celebrate the success of the COIL Project between Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Philippines! Under the guidance of mentors Dr. Teshani Devi Sewnunan (DUT) and Ma’am Ethel Oczon, MS (RMMC), and with the support of facilitators Emmanuel Matlala & Admire Mutshenhu (DUT) and Christian Jay Fajartin, MAEd, LPT (RMMC), participants—RMMC BSIT students and Durban Analytics students—explored “A Cross-Cultural Data Science Collaboration.” The program lasted for six weeks and concluded with a culmination program via Zoom on September 4, 2025 (Thursday). The Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiative is more than just a project, it is a gateway to global education, fostering intercultural exchange, digital literacy, and critical thinking while preparing learners for global leadership. “Collaboration knows no borders, it creates innovation.” Let’s continue embracing COIL as a bridge to global learning. #RMMCGensan #PassionForExcellence #CommitmentToService #GlobalCollaboration #rmmcpride
